week of Nov 1
Spanish II students are finishing up unit 6, chapter 3 which introduced the preterit (past) tense for the first time. Their language is taking a big step because they will be able to discuss events that took place in the past...this expands our ability to communicate. There will be a quiz over irregular -er, -ir verbs in the past, a written homework grade, and a test grade this week. Please put forth good effort this week...lots of points will be earned toward your class grade. We will then begin a unit taking place in the country and learn farm related vocabulary and some more past tense verbs.
Have a safe, long weekend!

Week of September 6
Spanish II students should be able to use reflexive verbs, and give affirmative and negative commands to friends/family. Tests will be returned and discussed this week. In order to practice these concepts one more time before moving on, students will create a video in groups of 3 lasting one or two minutes showing the use of reflexive verbs and commands in a creative setting. We will enjoy watching all the videos toward the end of the week. This will be worth 50 points and students have been given their scoring guides.
